Digital Motorized Rockwell Hardness Tester
Our Digital Motorized Rockwell Hardness tester are motorized operated tester is useful for checking hardness suitable for testing hardness of metals and alloys of all kinds, hard or soft, whether flat or round etc. or of irregular shape. These Testers are simple in design and easy to operate, still yet quite sensitive and accurate. These model conform to IS : 1586, BS 10109-2, ASTM-E-18 & ISO : 6508-2 for Rockwell Test. It is an advanced and automated hardness testing instrument used to measure the Rockwell hardness of materials. It is an evolution of the traditional manual Rockwell Hardness Tester, featuring digital display and motorized operation for enhanced accuracy, repeatability, and ease of use.
The Rockwell hardness test is based on the depth of penetration of an indenter into the material under a specific load. The test involves applying an initial minor load, followed by a major load, and then removing the major load while maintaining the minor load. The depth of indentation after removing the major load is measured, and the Rockwell hardness value is determined based on the difference in depths between the major and minor loads.
Features
- Digital Display: The tester is equipped with a digital display that shows the hardness value directly, eliminating the need for manual reading and interpretation.
- Motorized Operation: The loading and unloading of the major and minor loads are automated with the help of a motor, reducing operator effort and ensuring consistent application of loads.
- Automatic Zero Setting: The machine can automatically set the zero position for precise readings, eliminating human errors caused by manual zero setting.
- Test Force Selection: The tester allows the user to select different test forces based on the material and hardness range, providing versatility for testing various materials.
- Data Storage: Some models have the capability to store test results and perform statistical analysis, making it convenient for quality control and record-keeping purposes.
- Built-in Indenter and Anvil: The tester comes with a standard indenter and anvil, suitable for a wide range of materials and applications.
