Double Disc Polishing Machine

HP-2T SERIES

Double disc polishing machine, also known as a dual-head polishing machine, is a specialized tool used for surface preparation and finishing, similar to a triple disc polishing machine. However, it has two rotating discs instead of three. This type of machine is commonly used in various industries, including metalworking, automotive, optics, and electronics. Double disc polishing machines are efficient and effective tools for achieving consistent and high-quality surface finishes. They are often used in situations where moderate-sized surfaces or medium volumes of work require polishing.

Double Disc Polishing Machine – HP-2T SERIES

Double disc polishing machine, also known as a dual-head polishing machine, is a specialized tool used for surface preparation and finishing, similar to a triple disc polishing machine. However, it has two rotating discs instead of three. This type of machine is commonly used in various industries, including metalworking, automotive, optics, and electronics. Double disc polishing machines are efficient and effective tools for achieving consistent and high-quality surface finishes. They are often used in situations where moderate-sized surfaces or medium volumes of work require polishing.

Metallography specimen polishing machine is a kind of double disk table top type polishing machine and can be operated by two persons at the same time. It is suitable for the polishing & grinding of the specimen. The specimen surface turns out to be very smooth with a mirror like finish after polishing and can be used to observe and measure the metallography inspection of specimen under microscope. Fibre Reinforced Plastic ( FRP ) body makes the machine light weight and easy to be installed for use in laboratories, institutes and quality section of various industries.

The machine is switched on, and the operator guides it over the surface to be polished. The rotating discs, combined with the pressure applied by the operator, work to remove imperfections and create a polished finish. The operator may need to make multiple passes with different grit sizes of polishing pads to achieve the desired result. The machine is set up by attaching suitable polishing pads or abrasive discs to each of the two rotating discs. The choice of pads or discs depends on the desired level of polish and the type of material being polished.
