Coating Thickness Gauge – HTS-8202
Coating thickness gauge is a device used to measure the thickness of coatings applied to various surfaces. These gauges use a magnet to measure the thickness of non-magnetic coatings on ferrous (magnetic) substrates. The force required to pull the magnet from the surface is proportional to the coating thickness. Ultrasonic gauges use high-frequency sound waves to measure the thickness of coatings. The gauge emits an ultrasonic pulse that travels through the coating and reflects back from the substrate. The time taken for the pulse to travel can be used to calculate the coating thickness.
KEY FEATURES: –
- Thickness measurement using Magnetic Method to measure the nonmagnetic coating on a magnetic metal substrate.
